Wir beginnen mit einem Aufwärmen, das einlädt, in Bewegung und in Beziehung zum Raum und allen Teilnehmenden bewusst und präsent den eigenen Tanz zu komponieren. Von der Boden- bis zur Sprungebene arbeiten wir an Klarheit in Bezug auf die Initiation der Bewegung, der Nutzung des Bodens sowie den Raumausrichtungen und forschen an Bewegungsprinzipien, um Leichtigkeit und dynamischen Fluss beim gemeinsamen Tanzen zu ermöglichen. Improvisationsaufgaben mit Partner:innen können ebenso Teil der Einheit sein, wie Elemente aus Martial Arts, Akrobatik und Instant Composition. Eine Choreografie, die uns über alle Raumebenen führt, lädt ein, präsent mit dem gesamten Körper in Beziehung zur Gruppe und zum Raum zu tanzen.

We start with a warm-up that invites us to compose our own dance consciously and presently in motion and in relation to the space and all participants. From floor to jump level we work on clarity in relation to the initiation of movement, the use of the floor as well as the spatial orientations and research movement principles to enable lightness and dynamic flow when dancing together. Improvisation exercises with partners can be part of the class as well as elements from martial arts, acrobatics and instant composition. A choreography that takes us across all levels of space invites us to dance presently with the whole body in relation to the group and the space.
Target group: Dancers with a basic level in floor work and contemporary dance technique, as well as experience with acrobatic elements and partnering.

Christa Stöffelbauer ist Performerin, Tänzerin und Tanzvermittlerin. Sie studierte zeitgenössischen Bühnentanz bei Sozo Visions in Motion in Kassel, schloss ein Bewegungspädagogik Studium (IGRC) ® in Wien, sowie ein BA-Studium in Sozialer Arbeit am FH Campus Wien ab. In Kassel arbeitete sie u.a. mit Choreograf:innen wie Maya M. Caroll, Antje Pfundtner, Aura Antikainen, Deborah Manavi, Heike Wrede, Gabriela Branco, Jianan Qu und Stella Zannou. Sie tanzte in Stücken, die u.a. im Gallus Theater Frankfurt, Kulturhaus Dock 4, Dokfest Kassel, Das LOT Wien, und in Marrakesch gezeigt wurden. Sie ist Mitbegründerin mehrerer künstlerischer Kollektive und erforscht in ihren Arbeiten Zugänge, welche die Verbindungen von Körper, Tanz und sozio-politischen Themen suchen.
Christa Stöffelbauer is a performer, dancer and dance facilitator. She studied contemporary stage dance at Sozo Visions in Motion in Kassel, completed a movement pedagogy degree (IGRC) ® in Vienna, and a BA degree in social work at the FH Campus Wien. In Kassel she worked with choreographers such as Maya M. Caroll, Antje Pfundtner, Aura Antikainen, Deborah Manavi, Heike Wrede, Gabriela Branco, Jianan Qu and Stella Zannou. She has danced in works that have been shown at the Gallus Theater Frankfurt, Kulturhaus Dock 4, Dokfest Kassel, Das LOT Vienna, and in Marrakesh, among others. She is co-founder of several artistic collectives and explores approaches in her work that seek the connections between the body, dance and socio-political issues.
